Essential Functions 

• Works with customers and Security Solutions architects in planning and designing highly successful Security focused environments. 
• Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in context of their Security Portfolio strategy. 
• Assists in delivering consulting engagements, working with distributed sales teams along with deployment team members. 

• Demonstrates command of the Security technologies and other ecosystem solutions. 
• Masters a deep technical knowledge and possesses the communication skills and organizational agility to guide customers through Security integration projects and must also be able to perform the hands-on technical solution design work on his/her own. 
• Utilizes knowledge of architectural design and documentation. 
• Stays up to date with Security technologies (Next-Gen Firewall, Next-Gen IPS, VPN and Network Visibility) 
• Stays up to date with Security solution manufacturers programs and promotions. 

• Customer facing / presentation skills. 
• Documentation skills – ability to deliver high-level design documentation. 
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills. 
• Ability to work extended hours as needed for critical functions. 
• Ability to document business, information, application and technology aspects of approach. 

• Candidate must have ability to lead complex large projects. 

Required Qualifications 

• BS/BA degree in IT or related field (Industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree) 
• Minimum of 4-6 years of documented corporate IT experience in Security solutions is required 

• Candidate must also have excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and customer service skills 
• Additionally the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects at once 
• Expert knowledge of Cisco Perimeter Security products such as Next-Gen Firewalls (FTD/ASA), Next-Gen IPS (FirePower, FMC and AMP) 
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Network Security products such as Identity Services Engine (ISE), StealthWatch and Web Security Appliance (WSA) 
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Cloud Security products such as Umbrella and StealthWatch Cloud 

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Endpoint Security products such as AnyConnect (VPN), Email Security Appliance (ESA) and AMP for Endpoints 
• Current CCNP or other recognized security certification 
• Strong skills in Enterprise networking with extensive experience with routing and switching technologies as it relates to security products.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications 

• Multi-Factor / 2 Factor Authentication (Duo, RSA, OKTA) experience is a plus 
• Palo Alto Firewalls experience is a plus 
• Fortigate Firewalls experience is a plus 

• Checkpoint, SonicWall and pfSense experience a plus 
• AWS/Azure and F5 (SSL Decryption) experience a plus 
• IT Consulting/ VAR experience a plus
