Role : Network Engineer

Experience : 5+ years

Location : Hyderabad

Essential Skills

Primarily working with Juniper Switching and Routing; HPE Aruba and Extreme to a lesser degree

Provide Tier 2 level technical support for Juniper network infrastructure, including routers, switches,

firewalls, and security devices

Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, analyzing logs, conducting packet captures, and performing

root cause analysis

Collaborate with Tier 3 engineers, network architects, and other cross-functional teams to resolve

complex network problems

Configure and implement changes in the Juniper network environment following best practices and

change management processes

Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks

Ensure compliance with security policies, implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures

and access controls

Document and update network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices

Stay up-to-date with the latest Juniper technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting Juniper network infrastructure

In-depth knowledge of Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and security technologies

Strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS

Experience with Juniper Security technologies, including SRX firewalls, IPSec VPNs, and SSL VPNs

Familiarity with network virtualization technologies such as VRF, VXLAN, and MPLS VPNs

Proficient in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Juniper certifications such as JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-SEC, JNCIP-SP are preferred

Soft skills:

• Flexible to work in the evening shifts.
